Practicing cricothyrotomies on this trainer feels surprisingly realistic—the skin texture and landmarks make each attempt valuable. I’ve run through the front approach a dozen times now, and it holds up well to repeated needle punctures.

The neck anatomy is detailed enough that you can clearly identify the cricothyroid membrane by touch. Practicing the incision and tube insertion on this pad gives me more confidence before working on real patients.
