The simulated wound looks disturbingly real, which makes it perfect for drills where you need trainees to take the scenario seriously. It’s sturdy enough to strap onto a manikin and the visual detail really helps walking through the steps of stabilizing an impaled object.

The embedded object sits firmly in the wound bed, so it stays put during repeated practice scenarios, which makes it way easier to drill the stabilization steps over and over.

The texture of the fake wound is surprisingly realistic, and the way it sits on the body makes it easy to practice proper stabilization before moving the patient. I've run through a few scenarios with my team and it holds up well during repeated use.
