It’s not often I find a wall case that fits such a tight recess, but the 1-inch outside depth made installation against the stud flush and clean. The interior depth gives just enough room for a full trauma kit without bulging. Worth the 10 pounds of steel.

The metal case feels solid enough to handle real emergencies without flexing, and the 6.875-inch interior depth easily swallows a full trauma kit plus extras. Took about 20 minutes to install in the rough opening, and the semi-recessed look blends well with the hallway wall.

The rough opening dimensions were spot on, so it recessed into the wall with zero trimming or fuss. Even though it's only an inch deep on the outside, the 6.8-inch interior depth fits a full kit without the door bulging.
